The purpose of this qualitative study is to explore the perceptions of administrators regarding the implementation of a data dashboard system in one Texas Charter School System. For the purpose of this study, a data dashboard system is defined as a tool to share key performance indicators and any other relevant information to all stakeholders in real time and easy format (Balloui, Heitger, & Donnell, 2010).
The following research questions will be used in this study:
1. What do school system administrators perceive as benefits to implementing a data dashboard system?
2. What do school system administrators perceive as ways that a data dashboard system supports data-informed decision-making?
3. What topics should the dashboard system encompass that are currently not being addressed?
