Overview

For this paper, you are to play the role of an adviser to the United Nations. Students will each choose a particular African country. You will read through the millennium goals listed on the on the United Nations website(https://www.un.org/millenniumgoals/) and then look at the individual country on the Millennium goal fact sheet(https://mdgs.un.org/unsd/mdg/Data.aspx). Keep in mind that you will need to assess the goals based on your personal experience, the knowledge you gain from this course, and current news sources for the final paper.

Instructions

After reviewing the millennium goals listed for that particular country, submit a proposal that includes the following:

The country you have selected

The reasons why you have selected to study that country

An explanation of the socioeconomic status of the country

An overview of some general facts about the country (history, politics, language, geography, etc.)

Format

Your proposal should be written in paragraph form.
