THE CAMPAIGN

THE CAMPAIGN I CHOSE IS PATT QUINN PLEASE SEE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW AND PLEASE SEE ALL THE OTHER PAPERS THAT HAVE BEEN WORKED ON OVER THE SEMESTER. THIS IS A FINAL PAPER THAT BRINGS ALL THE PIECES TOGETHERS The final project for this course is the creation of a fundraising strategy for a political campaign. In particular, you must identify significant obstacles to fundraising success and ascertain strategies to overcome those obstacles including donor engagement, advertising mediums, and leveraging special interest group influence. This strategy requires appraising public source information, research, and fundraising tools for their effectiveness in developing cohesive fundraising campaigns, and proposing campaign strategies that maximize fundraising potential and align with desired campaign outcomes. Fundraising professionals play a critical role in the success or failure of a political campaign. As the amount of money in political campaigns and elections continues to grow, the first priority of a successful campaign is to raise enough money to fund the operations necessary to win on Election Day. Fundraising professionals are tasked with looking at prior campaigns, analyzing any failures, targeting donors, and making recommendations to expand a campaign’s fundraising base. Your paper will include an analysis of an unsuccessful gubernatorial campaign with a focus on fundraising, including fundraising recommendations for a relaunch of the campaign. You will select a gubernatorial campaign that was unsuccessful primarily due to financing difficulties and apply strategies learned throughout the course to prevent repeating the same fundraising mistakes.
