Selling your Brand
This discussion is all about pitching your NEW Brand! On the discussion board, you will be selling it to your classmates (the consumer) and in the Individual Project to a client (a business).
WEEK 9 MAIN DISCUSSION POST:
Convince the market that your brand is a good match to your classmate — the consumer. Put your persuasive writing skills into play for this assignment.
If you are engaging in research, be sure to cite the source(s) in APA format.
WEEK 9 INTERACTIVE RESPONSES:
NOTE: each week, interact with different class members rather than always communicating with the same two people
Interactive Reply 1:
List the two NEW brands presented in class that are appealing to you or your family. Explain why the brands are a good fit.
Interactive Reply 2:
List the two NEW brands presented in class that are least appealing to you or your family. Explain why the brands are not a good fit.
The two interactive posts should be substantive in nature and showcase mastery of the concepts and your professional marketing and business communication skills. Apply your knowledge. Do not simply state that it is a good or bad idea, specify why and be detailed in your explanation.
In your own words, please post a main discussion post and comment on at least two other postings (interactive responses). You will be graded on the quality and interactivity of your postings. Use of unoriginal text and excessive quotes indicates a lack of comprehension and shows that you may not have mastered the concepts. A large percentage of unoriginal content may result in a zero being posted for the discussion grade.
What’s in it For ME?
The class is coming to a close. We have spent 10 weeks exploring brand management, an area of expertise that can come in handy in the professional world. Companies look for people who have experience in brands and products and entrepreneurs want to hire consultants who can help them develop their businesses. In this graduate program, the goal is to help develop well-rounded marketing professionals who excel in their industries.
