2. What was Beethoven’s biggest obstacle to overcome in his life? Do you think he succeeded in overcoming this obstacle?

3. Give an example of how one of the selections you listened to was influenced by the politics and philosophies of Beethoven’s time. (You might want to do some further research using the internet to answer this question. Be sure to cite any sources you use.)
