3. The US health care system has been referred to as “racist, sexist, and class-biased”. What does this mean? Based on your understanding of chapter 7, argue either for or against this idea.
4. How do you think that society’s expectations for men and women contribute to eating disorders? Beauty norms in our society are considered as both racially and gender “normed.” What does this mean? What are the consequences of this “norming” for those who do not “measure up”?
