Goal:
You will have different options depending on your academic and future career goals and personal inclinations. You will have to develop a project in an established genre from a particular discpline that explores some focus connected to animals.

Assignment:
write a 1500-1750 word paper using the structural and stylistic conventions of a particular discipline or subject area that makes an argument related to some issue associated with animals. The project also included a strategic plan, initial outline, and bibliography due.

Source requirement:
at least Four-peer reviewed sources from your chosen discipline that you cite directly on the content level of your paper. (it should be from Boston University library)
at least three additional sources that you are using as genre models for your paper. These sources do not need to link to your specific topic. instead, they need to use format in which you are writing and contain a set of established features present in that genre of writing.
separate these source types on your bibliography, you will be reading them differently. when you red the first group you will be paying more attention to content- for the second set of models, form will be more significant.

Example:
If you wanted to write a literature review of the type that would be done in a discipline from that hard sciences, you would gather peer-reviewed sources that provide data related to your specific focus (these would likely be original research) but also include in your bibliography at least three sources that are also literature review and use the organizational structure that you will follow in your paper.
