This is an assignment for my class of the American History and it consists of writing a 5 pages essay about the subject below:

“In what ways might Civil War be considered a “Second American Revolution?” Evaluate the ways in which disunion was (or was not) connected to ideas about the American nation and its structure as expressed in its founding documents, i.e. the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Consider political ideals as well as the party politics, social transformations, and economic developments that happened in between and connected the American Revolution to the ultimate splintering of the nation and the outcomes of that conflict.”
