Media and it influence on Politics
Issue: How does one determine a news sources truth and varicosity? Evaluate different Media sources and state evidence to support findings. The Media’s job is to report the news. The consumer’s job is to determine accurate, credible and truthful information which may help in deciding the truth about political issues and the character of politicians.
Research: Choose four media or news sources to evaluate. Feel free to use any source that we have used in class. Which source gives the consumer more information or covers more topics of importance? Who owns the media sources? Which political party do they donate funds to? Can you find any evidence of bias headings or biased reporting?
Analysis and Culminating Activity: Discuss what you have learned about the media.
