！！Write an essay that addresses one of the following options. Indicate by the number, or by explanation, the item you have selected. The suggested length for your essay is from four to six typed, doubles-paced pages. Use basic essay format, with an introduction, body of support, and concluding paragraph. Be sure to use examples or
incidents and short quotations from the stories to illustrate key discussion points.
1. Using illustrative examples, incidents, and direct quotations, analyze one or more of the symbols central to each of the five stories.
2. Discuss the role of the nonhuman or supernatural “visitor” in understanding the truths or realities illustrated within each of the five stories. Be sure to use illustrative quotes, incidents, and examples from the stories to support your interpretations.
3. For each of the stories, explain why the author’s chosen narration style is particularly appropriate for delivering the narrative. In your explanation, include specific examples and quotes from the text.
