Each student is to identify a state of their choice to research the correctional structure identified in the state. For instance, how many inmates, race, average age of inmates, gender make-up, types of security level with a specific example of each ( Georgia medium security prison is Georgia State Prison at Reidsville), the Governing structure the number of facilities total, (for men and women) and the philosophy of the prison system. You must have three scholarly sources for this assignment. Only one state per student.
