Select primary sources: You’ll need to identify and describe three passages from one or more sources from American Notes and explain how each illustrates a larger theme or development in American history
Secondary Source annotated bibliography: You’ll need to find and list 3 potential secondary sources that will be useful in providing context and significance for your primary source passages. Please note the topic of your primary source passages. Each source needs to be listed in correct citation format (see the Citation Guide for assistance), and you need to include an abstract for each source – a few sentences describing the content of the source, especially its relevance to your primary source passages.
