Write your paper, following the Project Template provided by the instructor. In order to receive credit, your paper must follow the template format with the following content requirements in Sections I to VII:

IV. Potential Injuries Associated with the Topic

NOTE: Your topic may be a type of hazard, such as hot work, confined space, and combustible liquids; or your topic may be a type of control, such as safety by design, facility maintenance, and machine guarding. If your topic is a control, Section III of your paper should include hazards for which that control is used.6. The event or current issue you include in Section II must focus on occupational/workplace safety and must have occurred within the past two years (July 2013 or later). 7. The regulations/standards that you include in Section V should be from the United States or Maryland. You may find international standards associated with your topic in addition to the U.S. standards and Maryland standards Throughout the paper, include in-text citations to identify the sources of information you used. Most of the sources can be identified as (Last name of author, year of publication). Expect to provide an in-text citation approximately once per paragraph. Do not write the paper in APA format. We are only using APA format for the in-text citations and the references. 16. You MUST include a list of references, following APA format, of your sources of information for the paper in order to receive credit. Any paper received without documented sources will NOT be graded.8. Use at least 5 references, other than the course textbook, that meet requirements for accuracy, authority, objectivity, timeliness, and coverage. 4.
