INTRODUCTION
In order to understand what a Psychiatric Technician does, one must conduct research. Research entails reviewing the Scope of Practice of the Psychiatric Technician and the Regulations which govern the behaviors and expectations of this health care professional.

Learning Objective(s): At the end of this exercise, the learner(s) will be able to:
1.Describe the role of the Psychiatric Technician as a member of the health care team.
2.Compare and Contrast the Scope of Practice and the Psychiatric Technician Code of Ethics between the LVN and PT and the RN and PT.
3.Discuss what personal changes you will need to be make in order to reach this goal.
4.Explain and elaborate the effect and impact pursuing this objective will have on you.

1.Google the term: Psychiatric Technician.
2.\”Surf\” the internet and look at items that are of interest to you in order to formulate an idea or
concept of a Psychiatric Technician.
3.Compose a paper no more than two (2) pages, double spaced addressing the learning objectives
listed above.
