The thought paper is an opportunity for you to express an informed opinion and to seek resources to support your ideas. Therefore it is important that you clearly indicate your position and back it up with evidence. It is perfectly fine to cite other’s opinion, but a distinction must be made between what is yours and what is not. A reference section should be included at the end of the paper if you consulted materials from outside sources, including the textbook and the assigned readings. It is ok to discuss the topics and exchange ideas, but the paper will have to be done independently. It should be about 5-6 pages, double-spaced and typed, with the font size no bigger than 12 point.
