Write a extended blog post that analyses a section of a film or television programs.

Compare the Great Gatsby and 500 days of summer, in terms of how narrative structure is constructed, how they use plot, and different narrative devices to narrate story. In developing the structure for your blog post you should

– provide contextual overview of each movie’s production context
– use analysis of key scenes to develop argument
– Your post will include 2-3 images which represent key narrative moments in the films
– also include 1x embedded Youtube video which will provide a scene/video clip to support your analysis

– length 1100 words +/- 10% in text reference and quotes are counted towards word count. Reference list is not included in the word count.
– Writing Style – use standard critical language for your essay, in other words objective persuasive language for an academic audience
– research- use a minimum of 2 sources ( there can be academic sources, but don’t have to be. Use professional critical reviews i.e. reviews/ essays
– evidence of independent research will result in higher marks
– all sources must be accurately referenced in text using the HARVARD STYLE and include a corresponding reference list
