Compare and contrast the development of absolutism, nationalism, socialism, communism, totalitarianism, Islamism, and republicanism. Provide examples of the implementation of each form of government.

The essay should follow edited Standard English for sentence structure, grammar, punctuation, spelling, usage, and mechanics as well as accurately use APA citation and documentation guidelines.

The essay should be 700-900 words (3-5 pages) in length. In addition, the paper should include a title page and a references page. Note: The title page and the references page are not counted as part of the paper length.

Sources for the paper must be scholarly such as books by historians, peer-reviewed journals or scholarly websites (i.e., those ending in .gov, .edu, or .mil). No more than half of the references can be from the Internet. DO NOT USE Wikipedia as a reference.
