In what ways does the modern version deviate from the original? In what ways is it similar? What is the effect of these changes on what the story is trying to teach? (250 words)
2. Give a fairy tale that you were told or which you encountered in your own literary life. What about it speaks to you? As an adult, do you read this fairy tale differently? Why? Why not? (150 words)
