The essay part (Social Networking – Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

Choose a current technology or application that you see as changing the way knowledge is transmitted. Then, using research from at least 4 sources (electronic databases preferred, but valid websites are acceptable), write a paper addressing the following issues: The technology I chose is :Social Networking – Facebook, Twitter, etc.

I.Definition of the technology – What does it do? What function does it perform? Did it replace an older technology?

II.Brief background/history of the technology/application. How did it come into being?

III Discussion of Current Business Issues. How is this technology transmitting communication presently? What types of industry are using it? How are people trained for it? What are the challenges associated with its use?

IV. Future: Where is this technology/application heading? How will its features and/or uses expand in the future?

The Presentation Part Social media like Facebook, Twitter and other websites.

please use at least 2-3 images, in each presentation and narrate it and explain please for each slide. please make sure to use the follow all the instructions.

Using PowerPoint, create a 9 slide presentation highlighting your research paper. This project MUST be narrated, so you will need a microphone. In the past, when I’ve done this, I’ve found it helpful to write a script for each slide. Each slide can have a maximum of four bullets (if necessary) and at least one graphic per slide. YOU should be doing the presenting, not the presentation doing the presenting.

The slides should unfold as follows:

Slide 1 — Background: Why did you choose the technology that you did? What is your interest in it? What did you hope to find out? (Social media)

Slide 2 — What were your general preconceptions about the technology? What did/didn’t you know?

Slides 3 and 4 — Definition of the technology – What does it do? What function does it perform? Did it replace an older technology?

Slides 5 and 6 — Brief background/history of the technology/application. How did it come into being?

Slides 7 and 8- Discussion of Current Business Issues. How is this technology transmitting communication presently? What types of industry are using it? How are people trained for it? What are the challenges associated with its use?

Slide 9 — Future: Where is this technology/application heading? How will its features and/or uses expand in the future? Your reflections.
