Research Question: Based on the major battles that were fought in the civil war how did Lincoln and Jefferson Davis compare as military leaders?
-Provisional Thesis: Due to Lincoln’s effective tactics and strategies as a commander and chief allowed him to win several major battles during the Civil War, which eventually lead him to be victorious in the Civil War, while his counterpart Jefferson Davis was a very experienced military leader, but his strategies and tactics eventually lead to the demise of the Confederate States of America.
