For this week, please post about one of the following: 1) discuss an ethical/legal business dilemma you have encountered or heard about, and how it was resolved; OR 2) discuss your reaction to any one of the business scenarios/events mentioned by the authors in the linked materials (e.g., discuss why a particular business’ ethical approach might not have been the best approach, citing your reasons); OR 3) report on an ethics article you read when you visited one of the following websites (be sure to give the URL and reference, and check to make sure that no other student has already posted on the article—you can “reserve” it first, and then comment on it by the deadline): http://www.businessweek.com/managing/company/business_ethics/ (Links to an external site.), http://humanresources.about.com/od/businessethics/Business_Ethics.htm (Links to an external site.) OR 7) respond substantively/meaningfully to another student’s comment about options 1-6 (cannot just be “I agree with you” or “I disagree with you” or “That’s not right”–explain in detail why you agree, disagree, or have another reaction). When you post, be sure that you connect your post to one of the sources/approaches to ethics explored in the Ethics readings, or through a linked source supplied by you, if you are posting about Item 4 (in other words, this should not just be your post about your personal thoughts about what your personal ethics are)
