In this two part assignment, you will explore some of the components that really matter when building a successful consulting practice. You will also review trends in specific areas of consulting and provide a critique a particular consulting model. Part A is due in Week/Module 3 and Part B is due in Week/Module 5.

Part A:

In 7-10 discuss the knowledge and experience needed to achieve the consulting business of your dreams, as outlined by Alan Weiss in his text: The Consulting Bible: Everything You Need to Know to Create and Expand a Seven-Figure Consulting Practice. How does the author present what really matters when building a successful consulting practice and how can the value you provide as a consultant be reciprocal and exponential? Weiss approaches the consulting from his personal model, which is no doubt successful. Are there flaws in his approach?
