1) Improvement: Observe the daily activities that occur in a healthcare institution. Determine and illustrate the process flow; what is the sequence of actions or steps that a patient completes during his/her experience in this organization. Identify potential issues or opportunities for improvement within this process. Provide evidence for your
reasoning. 2) Data Collection Analysis: Collect data for each step containing potential problems; such as frequency, proportion, or length of time measurements relevant to the issues. Analyze the collected data to determine the presence and magnitude of the identified problems and whether or not they are opportunities for improvement.
