Essay #2: Review a popular book published in the recent years (or a documentary) that addresses critical issues in Asian-Pacific countries (whole region or one country). In four pages (single-spaced) summarize the book or the documentarys point of view, its theoretical/practical relevance, and its strengths and weaknesses as well as its geographical implications. You will do a 5-min presentation in class starting from March 30.

A drop box will be placed on D2L with a due date of April 13.

Appropriateness of book/documentary (critical, relevant, Asia-Pacific, etc.) 10 pts

Organization and writing of the essay 60 pts
