• Is the United States making progress in reducing or preventing terrorism? Explain your answer.

USA has progressed since 9/11 in preventing terrorism incidents in domestic and around the world.  Also the terrorist population has increased by 25 percent, there have been no major incident in the USA since 9/11.  USA has increased the security in airports, major events and have put certain people in survailance to protect the homeland.  The defense budget to protect the country has increase by thirty percent.  They also have broken the financial network to terrorist.  It is been harder and harder for terrorist to receive financial support from western countries to where they live.  Additional severe penalties have been passed for anyone who support terrorist in any shape of form.
