Course Description
Introductory writing skills, continued. Students will develop skills in various types of writing, including descriptive writing, expository writing, narrative writing, discussive writing, and argumentative writing. Students will have at least two graded writing assignments each module.

Course Overview
The goal of English 102 is to build on skills learned in ENG 101 by having students continue to experience the composing/writing process, rhetorical situation, narrative and description writing as well as the basics of argument and recognizing audience. Students will also experience information literacy and critical reading and writing skills. The course also aims to prepare students to conduct library research using APA format.
