You are ready to move on to the Process Analysis essay. The set up is a bit different from the prewriting assignment, so please follow these guidelines:
1. Write a formal introduction that ends with a clear thesis. Your introduction briefly identifies your current responsibilities in terms of home, work, school, etc. Lead into your thesis. Your thesis must name / list the specific process steps and techniques you use to balance responsibilities and time commitments across your home, work, and school lives.
2. You should have multiple body paragraphs, and each body paragraph should focus on a single step or technique in your process (as listed in your thesis). Strategies include such things as todo lists, weekly or monthly planners, calendars, support from others, etcetera. For each step / paragraph, begin with a clear topic sentence that lists the step you will discuss. Then, outline what the issue was before you implemented the step, specifics on how you implemented the step in terms of your own responsibilities and time commitments, and information on how putting the step into place has benefitted you and allowed you to better balance responsibilities across the three areas of your life.
