Answer 2 questions in separate paragraph. Discussion Question 1

Our brains’ tendency to “simplify” information may play an important part of what we experience as stereotyping, racism, and other discriminatory “isms.” For example, the brain has to decide which information about a person is most significant – gender, age, skin color, hair color, certain items of clothing, tone of voice, manner of speaking (accent),facial expression, height, weight. Do you agree? What can be done to change our patterns of thinking? DIscussion Question 2, How effective is the internet as a platform for social change?
