Problem statement: How can the implementation of big data security improve firms performance value towards customers?

I would like to explore how Big Data played the role of game changer in privacy and security ll increase the efficient level of those methods. Furthermore, I would like to develop insights on the following questions: can a more efficient level of privacy policy increase online selling volume? Can Big Data have an impact on companies profit?
Companies need to improve the use of Big Data to target most profitable clients and start a closer and more direct relationship with them. You must add also a paragraph with the specific international standard about privacy management Standard ISO/IEC 27001:2005 and describe how its implementation could possibly increase firms profitability, by boosting clients trust in online purchases. You can describe the process of implementation (different phases), its difficulties and the potential gains.

In order to give an empirical meaning to the thesis, I would like you to develop a short real life example: the analysis of a case in which implementing an accurate system of privacy management by using Big Data boosted companys profitability. You can choose the company, but it would be better if it also sells online its products. You should also provide me with the numerical data (collected from the internet or other sources) or graphs about the performance before and after implementing the standard.

IMPORTANT: all the bibliography used must be indicated at the end of the thesis (APA style). All the bibliography must be taken from academic journal and books.
