TRUSTWORTHINESS IN QUALITATIVE RESEARCH
Should you automatically trust the quality of research studies just because they are published in journals? How can you trust that researchers’ work is sound and ethical? How do researchers build trustworthiness into the research process? In this Discussion, you analyze issues of trustworthiness in qualitative research and factors that may skew trustworthiness. You also address how reliability and validity in quantitative research differs from trustworthiness in qualitative research.
