In addition to the Research Paper requirement, each class member is to select, analyze, evaluate, synthesize and report on a 5-7 page Word document an ethical violation case (scandal);
1. What was the case about? (Summary of the Case)

2. Who was (were) the individual (s) and company (ies) involved

3. When and where did it happen and amount of money involved?

4. Why did it happen?

5. How did this case come to the attention of the media?

6. What was the outcome of the case?

7. How could this case been avoided?

8. What can we learn from this case?

The cover sheet of the Report is to presented in the same format of the Research Paper sample, and must include footnotes/endnotes/bodynotes as well as a bibliography, in accordance with an accepted Manual of Style.

To facilitate grading, your report must show the headings for each of the 8 sections shown above. Failure to follow this guideline will cause you lose at least ten points which may affect your final course letter grade
