this essay is on the short story, Sunday in the park by bel kaufman. In this essay i have to explain how every character uses their power on dominating one another by using Nietzches “will to power” and using specific examples in each paragraph from the story. For example the first paragraph has to be an introduction using one of Nietzhes quotes from the website below or his book and explain it well plus connect it somehow to the short story about the park too and the thesis of the essay is the topic of this essay stated above. The second paragraph is on nietzches doctrine idea of will to power and obvious examples from the short story at least three examples such as when the guy wanted to beat each other and the big guy showing more power or like a selfish act explained in details from story. Then third paragraph is on examples how one dominates and controls another such as their feelings in the short story., such as repeating the line “you and who else” by the wife and why that is dominating/overpowering or when one of the kid dominates the other by throwing sand on larry. Then fourth paragraph is on subtle like the son looking for his mother or the husband showing his own possessive way into dominating by ignoring the argument that is put on it the park which itself is most powerful statement there by ignoring the facts and finally the conclusion that ties everything together.
