This paper requires us to compare films across two or more cultures with a various research question in mind, for e.g.: How do directors in Czech and American war films choose to portray the main characters through the use of camera and editing in order to bolster national awareness and camaraderie? It has to be written in a script format. It is complicated, but here are links that should help you. This is an IB paper, so if you need help you can find tonnes of resources online. IB means International Baccalaureate. The course is called IB HL film. I’ve already written roughly 10 pages, but they are relatively poor quality so I would like you to work on them. Also make sure you watch the Films: Black Hawk Down and Saving Private Ryan. They are essential. For the two czech films you can add on to the information I already have. You don’t have to watch them and just make up the scenes and link them to the body. Make sure to not focus on english aspects, but on film aspects. Remember this is a film analysis. Talk about camera angles, editing, dialog( maybe instead of this one you can talk about Mise en Scene since you won’t watch the czech ones)- if there is not enough space(the script can’t be more than 15 pages) just delete the dialog or mise en scene part altogether.
