Select a small change that has recently occurred within your department/organization or an organization that you are familiar with.
a. Conduct a Plan Analysis. Analyze the change management plan and process used and discuss whether the achieved was the desired outcome. Be sure to include human, non-human, technical, and non-technical factors that were catalysts for this change, as well as the cultural factors involved.
b. Conduct an Outcome Analysis. Was the outcome the one desired or did another outcome occur? Why do you believe the particular outcome resulted?
c. Provide Strategy Recommendations. Make recommendations to the organization’s leadership on future strategies for effective change for short-term, small-scale, long-term, and large-scale change management projects.
Your paper, six to eight pages, should be written in proper APA format and you should use at least 4 – 6 scholarly (peer reviewed journal articles, written within last five years) to support your paper. Be sure to tie theories we have discussed to your analysis and recommendations.
