A local charity been given a 60 year lease on a small plot of land behind houses, adjacent to a railway bridge. Access is restricted to 3m wide entrance between houses. Charity executive wants to build some living accommodation on site. Ground conditions unknown. Planning restrictions limit the height of buildings no more than two storeys.
Task: write a report for the chief executive of charity which explains and recommends a preferred type of built for the site. Must write reports about issues that should be considered when deciding on the type of foundations to use and systems and materials that would be best for the walls, floors and roof of the buildings. Should be in a technical report format and as a minimum should include section drawings of the foundation and walls that should be recommended. It is acceptable to draw by hands or using software.
